The recent NDIS Review recommended that the NDIA should remove the Improved Liveability (“IL”) category for new Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) developments and review the remaining SDA categories and associated Design Standards to evaluate their effectiveness.
SDA Services, along with more than 60 of our colleagues in the SDA sector, have united to prepare and send a submission led by our Principal Consultant and Founder, Greg Barry and James Brown (SDA Plus), suggesting that this recommendation not be accepted by Minister Shorten.
